»Villa Leibfried« Stuttgart,
199394.
The actual Villa Leibfried was destroyed during the world war II. After the end of the war the ruin fell into oblivion for about 50 years. On the occasion of the »International Garden Show« 1994 the area was prepared in such a way that vegetation and ruin remained unaffected and visitors could walk through that jungle like careful guests. The new structure of pathwalk only touched the ground in a few places. The picture shows a new built arcade to mark the former entrance to the villa.

»Stangenwald«, (Pole forest), installation on the Killesberg in Stuttgart, 199394. This landscape-architecture also could be realized on the occasion of the »International Garden Show«. A regularly built forest out of white concrete columns with a steel pergola put over it invites visitors to reflect about growings and constructions, nature and arts. »Space grid«, »light rake«, »shadedial«. |

»Türenwald (Door forest)« This installation was built in the 90Ős for an exhibition. Poetic multiplication and exaggeration. |

»Laube« (Garden House), University of Stuttgart This walkable architectural object was located in the open area of the Stuttgart university from 1980 to 2001. Unfortunately it has been torn off in the meantime. |

»Landesgartenschau Kehl-Strasbourg 2004« This walkable wood-corn-object was planned in the entrance area of the garden exhibition. Unfortunately it became a victime of the current economy measures. An open timber construction was planned that should have been furnished with corn cobs. |

Bürgerpark (Citizen park) in Biberach an der Riß, 19992002. In the center of this park area there is a large round lake with a water jet and a little island with poplars. On the edge of the park there are two garden houses which Christoph Martin Wieland used in the 18th century as poet houses. On the photo one sees the path which leads from the garden houses to the lake. The gravel surface marks the course of the river Riss during the 18th and 19th century. In the early fifties of the 20th century this river was redirected to the outskirts of the town.
